Jennifer Blake: Umm I think we need another bookshelf...

Umm I think we need another bookshelf...

December 3, 2011

So there came a time, right after we moved into our apartment in June that I started getting overwhelmed by the amount of BOOKS we have. Honestly, who can be overwhelmed by books?! Me, thats who! I am an avid reader, my favorite thing to do is curl up with some yummy coffee, a cuddly blanket, a nice candle, and a good book! If you haven't tried it, do it, its so relaxing! I have also turned the mister into a book lover, one of the things I am most proud of if I do say so myself. I think one of our favorite activities is to hunt for bookstores (especially if they have a used section) and also hunt for book sales at libraries. Our apartment is filled with books and we could not even bring them all, the spare bedroom at my mom's houses the rest of the books I have. We only buy used if it is in good condition and if the price is good, at libraries, most do what they call fill a bag for 5 bucks...can't beat that! Our newest favorite bookstore is Brookline Booksmith near our apartment because the entire basement is used books, and there is a dollar section, also can't beat that. In order to make myself feel underwhelmed (hey, I didn't even know that was a word!) I begged my dad to make me a bookshelf, it came out amazing and now houses a lot of our books.

Now on to the point, the third prompt for reverb11 is...

Anyone else participating in reverb11??  Link your site I would love to check it out if you are! I am getting my prompts from here. Her blog is simply amazing, I could spend hours days reading her posts.
