Jennifer Blake: Bring it on 2012.

Bring it on 2012.

Happy New Year from us to you!

I'm back! I took a little hiatus from blogging for the holidays, while I was enjoying the time with my family, I ate way more than I should have, visited with friends from high school, lounged around with my pup, ventured to Vermont, picked our DJ for the wedding, indulged in some shopping, and de-stressed myself from school and finals. So much changed for me in 2011, and I could sit and dwell on the fact that I am not where I thought I would be, but there is no need for that. 2012 is here and I am so ready for the new year! Not only are so many things going to change, BUT I can also officially say I am getting married this year!! The Mr. and I spent some time last night writing our new years resolutions and as I was writing I kept getting excited about sharing them with all of you, but then I decided it was too soon. I need time to reflect on them a little more, and to really reflect on what I want this year to be like. Once I realized I was not ready to share them I was stuck on what to blog about today...then as I was reading one of my favorite blogs by that talented Elise Blaha, and decided to follow her approach of picking one word for the year. One word that will carry me through the year. One word to focus on. I LOVE this idea, so I am jumping on board.

I thought long and hard about what word to pick, there are so many! I finally decided on vitality.

Vitality: The power to live or grow. The state of being strong and active. Energy.
Physically. Mentally. Emotionally. Spiritually. Creatively.

I am going to focus on living this year to it's fullest, experiencing and remembering every event and moment.

Did you make any new years resolutions or pick a word to focus on this year!?

Happy 2012!
