Jennifer Blake: snapshots from home

snapshots from home

Aaron and I went to New Hampshire this weekend to dog sit for my mom, the trip home could not have come at a better time. It was nice to get away from all of the chaos happening in Massachusetts and it allowed for us to have a relaxing weekend as we head into finals for our spring semester. Aaron and I celebrated 6 years this weekend so it was nice to be home where our relationship began.

Friday we ran errands, enjoyed lunch at a local mexican restaurant and enjoyed dinner & games with friends who we had not seen in way too long.
Saturday we lounged around and had lunch with Aaron's parents (I also managed to lock myself out of my house!), then we headed to Tilton to do some shopping at the outlets, followed by a leisurely drive home on back roads. We stopped for ice cream on the way home and enjoyed the scenery of New Hampshire. Saturday night we went out to a chinese restaurant which was close by.
Sunday we played with my pup outside, cleaned out my car, soaked up the sun and read outside on the porch. We headed back to our place in the afternoon, but not before Aaron surprised me with a trip to Andover where we went to undergrad together. We walked main street, had delicious coffee, and strolled through the Andover book store.

It was a perfect & relaxing weekend. Now back to the grind!

  1. Good for you that you got to be in NH for the weekend. Being in MA was very tense! Looks like you had a nice time. I can't wait until it is warm on a consistent basis!
