Jennifer Blake: The Perfect Autumn Day

The Perfect Autumn Day

September 16, 2013

Last week was long. Like I never thought it was going to end. It was filled with classes, homework, travel and interviews. You can imagine how happy I was once the weekend rolled around. I told Aaron the one thing I wanted to do this weekend was something fall related, but I did not want to travel far. I am so sick of being in the car! Saturday we slept in and lounged around for a bit. We hit up Starbucks for some pumpkin spice lattes and made our way to a local apple orchard! I am not sure if I was more excited to be picking apples or getting apple cider donuts! The place was a crazy mad house and in case you are wondering apple picking in MA does not even compare to how amazing apple picking in NH is, fall in NH is my favorite. We have plans to head to NH one weekend to go apple picking again and drive up north. We made the best of our time, I even wore my new boots!

It was so much fun. Also, the donuts were incredible. I still have a caramel apple with my name on it in the kitchen. It was a perfect break from school.

What did you do this weekend?
