Jennifer Blake: A Budget Friendly Date Night.

A Budget Friendly Date Night.

October 21, 2013

A few Friday's ago I had the morning off and Aaron had class. I had a few errands to run and while I was out it hit me that we haven't really had a date night in a while. We are of course on a tight budget so I had to keep that in mind. I decided to grab a movie on sale at Target that we both have not seen but have wanted to, I grabbed our favorite snacks and threw in a bag of popcorn we had at home. It was all waiting for Aaron on the table when he got home! He had been asking for a while to watch a movie,  sure we watch TV and we occasionally throw on a movie in the background while we do homework or something, but I couldn't remember the last time we put away our computers, our phones and actually curled up on the couch together to watch a movie.

It was a perfect & relaxing way to begin the weekend.
Want to make it even cheaper? Rent a movie from Redbox, you can even sign up to get texts from them and they send a lot of coupons and deals out all the time!

What are your budget friendly date ideas?

  1. Fun idea! I love a movie at home date night :)

  2. Yes, it was perfect and just what we needed, so mellow!

  3. Whenever we're staying at our beach place, walking along the shore at sunset is our favorite budget friendly activity. It's a great way to spend two hours without spending a dime. :) Adore this post, love. If you get a free moment, I'd love to hear your thoughts on my latest. :) xo

Connecting with you is my favorite. Thanks for stopping by!
