Project Life 2014: The plan, goals and cover page

January 3, 2014

I finally had time to sit down and work on my new cover page for Project Life, I had so much fun doing it last year and it is such an incredible way to document our lives. I love love love this project. I  felt myself getting excited to start 2014 before I had finished 2013, but I made myself wait and I am so glad I did. This is a fresh beginning with new kits and layouts, I am more than excited to tackle it.

Once again I plan on doing weekly spreads, I only missed ONE week last year which is pretty good for me. This year I am hoping to keep things way more cohesive and not miss any weeks. I will be working from the Midnight Kit and the Sunshine Kit. I think they pair well together and will keep the cohesive look I am going for. I plan on using mainly pocket A pages, if not exclusively...but we'll see how it goes once I get started.

Here is my cover page, simple & clean!
My plan is to take more weekly notes on my phone to keep track of what we have been up to.

The two biggest goals I have for this album are:
1. More DSLR photos and less iPhone photos
2. Get more of Aaron's voice in the album, I started this by asking him to answer and fill in the blank to a few questions for the cover page. He was slightly cooperative.

Hooray! I am so excited. I will try to be posting weekly spreads on Sundays and would love for you to follow along.

Are you doing Project Life? I would love to follow along with you as well!

  1. So funny, I just emailed you to ask what this was all about! I love your cover page. It's so hard to get boys to answer questions sometimes - silly men!

  3. I love the idea of keeping my 365 in an organized way like but I feel as if it would be expensive? Thoughts
