Jennifer Blake: an easy on the go breakfast

an easy on the go breakfast

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Tyson Foods, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #JDgreatdays

Life is busy. Busy as in you re-wash the same load of towels 3 times during the week because you keep forgetting to take it out and dry it. I work a full time job, I blog and I am a RRCA certified running coach. I also have a husband and an apartment that require my time. On top of that I am currently training for two races- a 200 mile relay race and a half marathon, both which will happen this fall.

So how do I fit in training on top of adulting?

Well I always try to get my runs in before work, which means I am up when the sun rises. If I save my workouts for after I find myself way less motivated. Good mornings lead to great days, and with Jimmy Dean breakfast I get the quick protein rich start that I need before my run and a full day of work. I picked up my favorites at my local Stop and Shop!

My favorites are the breakfast bowls and the flatbread sandwiches. They are quick, easy and delicious. Starting my day with a flatbread sandwich, a hot cup of coffee and some water makes for a great run and a great day. I try really hard to not snooze my alarm, I wake up right away, check social media quickly, grab the running clothes I laid out the night before, heat up a Jimmy Dean sandwich or breakfast bowl, and then head out for my run before work. Sometimes if I am hungry after my run I heat up another sandwich for my 45 minute drive to work, because they are single servings and portable, it makes it an easy car ride breakfast! They are protein rich and protein is a major key to re-buidling those small muscle tears you get from running, which make them an even better choice for me. See for yourself how good mornings lead to great days when you start them off with Jimmy Dean.  Right now at Stop and Shop when you buy 3 participating Jimmy Dean products you get $5 off through 8/11. While supplies last. What is your favorite way to fuel up for the start of your day?
