Jennifer Blake: Weekend Round-up

Weekend Round-up

August 22, 2016

Weekends always, always, go to fast. You count down to Friday, only to end back at Monday in the blink of an eye. There are very few summer weekends left and we have been trying to make the most of them. This weekend we decided to lay low because we both were feeling exhausted from the work week. Friday night we made a pizza and sat on the couch all night doing our fantasy football draft. After it ended we watched West Wing- which we have been working our way through lately (I love it! especially the 90's style of clothing!).
Saturday I woke up early, led a half marathon training group run, had coffee and breakfast with my dad while he is in town, and then ran errands in the afternoon. Saturday night I had a few friends over for an Arbonne party, it was so much fun. A few hung around after and we went out for some sushi and drinks, which we followed up with a competitive game of Mario Party.
Sunday came and went pretty fast, Aaron and I adventured out on a walk for coffee, it was absolutely gorgeous out, kind of felt like fall! I am starting to get pretty excited for everything fall. Give me all the pumpkin, apples, and cozy blankets! We did some house work after our coffee trip and I decided to take a nap in the afternoon, which was perfect. We have been playing a game called patchwork, which is fun and always different, so we ate lunch and played. Last night after vowing to stay up late I was in bed by ten, but I just couldn't keep my eyes open!

And just like that the weekend is over...

What did you do this weekend?
