Jennifer Blake: week 16, 17 and 18 bumpdate!

week 16, 17 and 18 bumpdate!

April 3, 2017

In the past two weeks we have packed our apartment up, stuff most of our belongings into storage and moved in with my in-laws. Between packing, moving, unpacking, organizing and work it has not left much time for anythings else- so I fell behind on documenting, writing and capturing moments with my lens.

I figured I would play catch up and do a 16, 17 and 18 week bumpdate all in one.

size of the baby: 16 weeks, size of an avocado, 4.61 inches and 3.50 ounces
total weight gain: 5 pounds
gender: Unknown, I have a feeling it is a girl, just intuition. Everyone else has very mixed feels, I feel like its 50/50 with what others think! We will find out at our next appointment April 17th!
maternity clothes: I am still in my regular clothes but pants are getting hard to keep closed even with a hair tie! Pink Blush sent me an adorable outfit that I cannot wait to post about later!
movement: Nothing yet!
sleep: Sleeping pretty well but we are getting ready to move which has my head constantly spinning about things to finish up!
craving: I have been really hungry the past few weeks, no specific cravings but anytime I can get my hand on a frozen lemonade I am a happy girl!
symptoms: hunger and growing pains (round ligament pain!)
Aaron is: being super helpful around the house, he has been helping me pack and organize for moving.
looking forward to: finding out the gender of this sweet babe!
best moment: feeling like the extra weight is turning into a bump instead of looking like a beer gut!

size of the baby: 17 weeks, size of an pomegranate, 5.12 inches and 5.90 ounces
total weight gain: 7 pounds
gender: Still think it is a girl! My kids at work have the funniest responses, they normally choose their own gender when I ask them.
maternity clothes: A few maternity shirts here and there, as well as mostly leggings!
movement: I keep feeling like little fluttering when I am laying in bed, but it is so hard to tell if it is the baby or something else making funny movements/sounds!
sleep: Sleeping well, I have started waking up less during the night which is nice.
missing: Italian subs and beer, I also really missed sushi this week.
craving: Frozen lemonade and pasta.
symptoms: hunger and growing pains (round ligament pain!)
Aaron is: being super helpful during the move. He helped pack a lot of the house and actual lifting of heavy boxes!
looking forward to: finding out the gender of this sweet babe and feeling an actual kick!
best moment: feeling fluttering at night, I am pretty convinced it is the baby.

New place new take on the weekly photo! 18 Weeks!

size of the baby: 18 weeks, size of an artichoke, 5.59 inches and 6.70 ounces
total weight gain: 9 pounds
gender: Still think it is a girl! A lot of my family think it will be a girl and it is driving my sister crazy that we didn't find out earlier.
maternity clothes: A few maternity shirts here and there, as well as mostly leggings! We went shopping for some pants and I didn't find any jeans that were long enough, but came home with a few new shirts.
movement: Fluttering,  it kind of felt like someone somersaulting in my stomach, I am convinced it is the baby!
sleep: Sleeping pretty well, our bed is a bit smaller so trying to teach Aaron to be less of a bed hog.
missing: Italian subs and beer. I also really really want a sub from Moes.
craving: Frozen lemonade, pasta and bagels.
symptoms: hunger and growing pains (round ligament pain!)
Aaron is: helping with unpacking and finding space for everything, which is making it less overwhelming!
looking forward to: finding out the gender of this sweet babe, people keep talking about my baby shower which is making it all seem very real and close, which is overwhelming and exciting!
best moment: feeling fluttering at night, I am pretty convinced it is the baby.
